Cake Decorator

*Clements' Marketplace seeks a full or part time Cake Decorator for our upcoming location in Bristol, RI.
While this location is still in development, there is the potential to train at one of our other locations.
* Clements' is a family owned and operated business with three other locations and ties to RI & MA since 1980.

*Duties & Responsibilities:* * Plan, design and create custom cakes as requested by customers.
* Conduct customer consultations to discuss and develop ideas for cakes.
* Bake and prepare everyday products for the department.
* Monitor the freshness of products and manage inventory.
* Follow proper cleaning, sanitation and food safety guidelines.
Equipment will be utilized in a safe manner, in accordance with store policies and procedure.
Maintaining proper organization of work spaces is also required.
* Work closely with other staff members to maintain the department goals.
_This position may perform other duties as required.
_ *Qualifications:* * Must possess a high degree of creativity with the ability to conceptualize and execute complex cake ideas.
* *Previous working experience in a bakery/cake decorating setting required.
* * Highly motivated individual that can work in a fast paced retail environment.
* Ability to multi-task, have excellent time management and organizational skills.
