McGrath Clambakes has been in business for 55 years and provides a unique experience indigenous to the New England area.
The Company is seeking experienced Catering/Banquet Chefs for hands-on production of all food prepared for catering and special events.
Culinary training with at least one year of experience, decision-making and leadership skills essential.
Must be accustomed to a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Knowledge of sanitation procedures required.
*Job Requirements: *
* Works closely with chefs, as needed, with food preparation, cooking and storing of food according to specs and standards
* Supervises and assists with setting up for events and producing catering food
* Follows standardized recipes and procedures to cook food, oversees the successful execution of catering menus.
* Utilizes appropriate cleaning procedures for assigned duties so that products are acquired, maintained, and stored according to health code regulations
* Adjusts recipes and food preparation, as needed, according to guest request and specifications
* Operates assigned kitchen equipment, including cleaning and sanitizing
* Manages and aids in the full execution of all events including; the set up and breakdown
* Loads and unloads catering vehicles for special events
