SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Computer Engineer I.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Description: SEACORP is seeking a Computer Engineer to support the Command, Control, Communications, Computer and Intelligence (C4I) systems group for the OHIO Class Program at NUWCDIVNPT providing support for OHIO Class Life Cycle Support Facility (LCSF) systems engineering including lab configuration and integration, test and evaluation, fleet support, and alteration development support for C4I systems.
Job Responsibilities:
Research, design, develop, and test computer hardware and software programs.
Supervise the manufacturing and installation of computers and computer-related equipment.
Can be involved in the design and development of many types of software, including software for operating systems and network distribution, and compilers, which convert programs for execution on a computer.
Apply the principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of the software and systems that enable computers to perform their many applications.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with a field of concentration in Computer Science.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of related experience;
Common Submarine Radio Room (CSRR), Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES), or networking experience would be a plus.
Previous experience with Engineering Change (EC)/alteration development would be a plus.
Networking experience a plus.
Alteration development experience a plus.
