Patient Services Coordinator Days - (3253303) Do you like Customer Service and working with people? Great opportunities in our Call Center! The Patient Services Coordinator provides administrative support to health care providers in a high-volume ambulatory setting, functioning as the primary interface between the patient and the providers.
The emphasis is placed on the ability to: Answer incoming phone calls, schedule patient appointments, and appropriately direct medication refill requests and sick calls.
Organize priorities and complete tasks.
Adhere to HIPPA policies and be able to manage confidential patient information.
Be able and willing to complete all clerical tasks as required.
Work with our clinicians and other team members to insure timely flow of patient information.
Assist in opening and end of day procedures.
Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to assume additional responsibilities.
Act as a liaison between departments - This person understands their position is an important part of the care team in the Patient Centered Medical Practice and promotes partnership between patients, family and team.
Floating as needed.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or equivalent required.
Associates or college course work preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
Call Center/high volume practice experience preferred.
Electronic Medical Record Experience preferred.
Ability to work effectively on a team.
Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
Comfortable in a fast-paced working environment.
