We are searching for a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Dept.
to perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit.
Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.
May assume Charge responsibility for assigned personnel and activities as required or directed.

Our trauma center is the first of its kind in the region.
Our RNs have access to new technologies, professional development resources, and an engaged leadership team.
We partner with pediatricians from Boston Children’s Hospital to provide specialized care in the emergency room and pediatric unit.
Location: St.
Luke’s Hospital – New Bedford, MA
Hours: 32 hours (Part Time with Benefits)
Shift: EVE/NIGHT, 7:00pm-3:00am with weekend & holiday rotations
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
ACLS/PALS required within 6 months of hire.
MOAB required within 6 months of hire.
1 year nursing experience preferred.
Emergency Medicine experience preferred

$12,000 New Hire Sign On with 3+ years of RN ED experience
$9,600 New Hire Sign On with 1-3 years of RN ED experience
$8,000 New Hire Sign On with 1+ years of Hospital RN Experience OR Less than 1 year RN ED experience
Rehires termed greater than 1 year are eligible
