Hundreds of *Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)* shifts are available across multiple locations in *Rhode Island*.
*Responsibilities:*
* Chart nurses’ notes and care plans in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident as well as the resident’s response to the care.
* Medication administration passes are completed and documented timely, accurately, and in accordance with established policies.
* Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.
* Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long term care.
* Obtain and carry out Physicians’ orders.
* Pass medications to residents at the correct time and in the correct dose, as ordered by physicians.
* Continually assess residents for changes-of-conditions.
* Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise CNAs.
*Documents required:*
* Must be *actively licensed in the state of Rhode Island *as a Vocational Nurse
* *CPR *or *BLS *Certification,
* *Physical Test* and a *TB Test *(taken within one year)
* Driver's License or State ID
* 6 months experience working as a LPN/LVN
