Certified Dental Assistant

Overview: We are seeking a pleasant and friendly Certified Dental Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will assist the doctor chairside with various procedures and provide quality patient care in a professional dental office setting.
Duties: - Prepare treatment rooms for patients - True 4 handed dentistry - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Assist dentist during dental procedures - Take radiographs including CBCT scans - Provide post-operative instructions prescribed by the dentist - Minimal Lab work - Mouth Guards, Bleaching Trays, Retainers Qualifications: - Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program - Proficiency in medical terminology and dental procedures - Knowledge of dental software - Experience with patient interactions - Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology (CEREC) - Ability to take vital signs - Understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques This position offers the opportunity to work in a premier dental office in RI.
Established in 1998, the office is one of the most technologically advanced practices offering CEREC, Laser Dentistry, and the latest in digital radiography including CBCT.
The practice is open 3 and a half days per week with (3) ten hour days M-W and a 6 hour day on Thursday.
No weekends.
Position is salary based with 4 weeks vacation during the year.
Employees can earn up to 3 additional weeks of paid vacation.

Candidate would be replacing a long term team member.
