We are searching for a Registered Nurse-Rehab to perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit.
Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.
May assume Charge responsibility for assigned personnel and activities as required or directed.
Come see the newly expanded Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Center! We support patients who will benefit from an intensive, interdisciplinary rehabilitation program.
The interdisciplinary team is led by a rehab physician and includes nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech/language pathologists, social workers, case managers, dietitians and other specialists as needed.
Patient population includes but not limited to: CVA, Spinal Cord Injury, Amputation, Major multiple trauma, Brain Injury, Neurologic Disorders.
Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA Hours: Per Diem, Low Option, Unit Based Shift: Evening/Night shift; 1115 pm to 715am or 715pm to 715am Low Option: Selects 48 hours to work per six week schedule.
Selects TWO weekend shifts per six week schedule.
Selects one major winter (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years) and one major summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day).
Education and/or Experience Requirements: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
5-9 years’ experience is required.
