*BDES is recruiting motivated and qualified individuals with at least 2-3 years of ABA Therapist experience to fill key ABA positions in our organization.
Staff hired will work with students with Autism in a variety of New Bedford public schools throughout the school year and summer school program in New Bedford*

BDES is an interdisciplinary team of child development and behavioral specialists including Clinical Psychologists, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Registered Behavior Technicians, and ABA Behavioral and Instructional Assistants.
We provide individualized programming and teaching based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to students with language, cognitive and emotional disabilities ranging from age 3-22.
Description:
Staff will receive comprehensive training to enable them to provide the following services:
* ABA based support to individuals in a classroom setting
* Individual and small group instruction Incidental teaching throughout the day
* Frequent collection and analysis of data
* Consistent and gentle support to teach functional and prosocial behavior.
* Mentor less experienced ABA staff
* Partner with classroom teacher, BCBA, and others to achieve classroom goals

Bachelors degree and a minimum two to three years of previous ABA experience in a home, school or center ABA environment is required for this role.
Relevant previous experience in teaching or child care environments is a plus.

Staff must be able to physically perform all responsibilities of the job including lifting up to 50 pounds, keeping students in close proximity, and moving quickly when necessary.
