Overview:
Responsible for the overall growth of KVH’s CommBox Edge Hardware and Service Platform in the Maritime Markets.
Includes expanding strategic distribution strategies and relationship building with channel partners.
Accountable to support KVH’s Global Sales Team to positively influence the sales cycle of Network Management and Connectivity Solutions.
Responsible for increasing the capabilities of the sales organization.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for Business Development activities related to the growth of KVH’s network management and connectivity solutions.
Responsible for creating and implementing effective go to market strategies for KVH’s network management and connectivity solutions.
Assist with the development and implementation of KVH’s OpenNet Program.
Interact with sales team and customers to understand customer needs and requirements and clearly communicate technical information in a manner they will understand.
On an as needed basis travel to customer site for demonstration and integration testing of proposed designs and final acceptance.
Identify, perform compatibility testing, and assist in documenting 3rd party products and their application with KVH's data product suite.
Work closely with KVH Engineering Teams on product and service development.
Qualifications:
Solid LAN/WAN networking experience required.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Computer Science degree, IT degree or equivalent preferred.
Some experience with integrating networked systems for custom solutions.
Linux systems administration experience preferred.
Knowledge of user devices and operating systems (mobile and desktop) and common applications
Cisco router configuration experience a plus.
Self-learner and problem-solver.
Must be able to travel ~25% of the time.
