Are you ready to help people live their best life? As a critical member of the New Bedford Community Health Center’s Integrated Behavioral Health team, this individual will support our Adult and Women’s Health population.
The clinician will work with fellow behavioral health clinicians, our consultants, primary care physicians, nurses and community health workers to provide comprehensive care for the Adult population.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Documenting clinical work and communications in our integrated medical record.
Providing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and brief behavioral health interventions for patients within the primary care setting.
Patient education and individual therapy and treatment planning.
Collaborating with the larger behavioral health, care coordination, and medical teams.
Participating in trainings, clinical supervision, and quality improvement activities.

Someone compassionate and determined to assist patients in making changes to daily routines, assist patients in developing strategies to address and overcome barriers, and motivate patients to engage as active participants in their own mental health care.

Some one who is resourceful and Adheres to Clinical Social services within legal, ethical and professional standards.
Someone who loves to learn who will attend trainings, conferences, and workshops, who will participate in motivational interviewing training, and who will continuously expand their knowledge and understanding of community resources, services and programs.
Someone tech savvy who will document within an integrated electronic medical record.

Monday – Friday: Flexible Work Schedule (8:00am - 4:30pm, 8:30am - 5:00pm, or 9:00am - 5:30pm).
