Our Home Health Agency is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Home Health Aide.
Candidates are responsible for providing care for the elderly, disabled, and/or chronically ill in their home.
The Aide will assist and support patients in their daily activities including personal care.
Hoyer experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
* Understand the nature of home health care and of the diseases, conditions and disabilities that require home health care services.
* Be caring, respectful and helpful to patients with special needs.
* Provide emotional support to patients with special needs.
* Follow the plans established by the nurses, therapists and doctors.
* Hoyer lift and Sit to Stand experience a plus.
* Prepare a clean, safe and healthy environment for patients with special needs.
Patient located in New Bedford.
Looking to fill a Mon-Fri 4pm-8pm with Sunday 8am-8pm schedule, for a total of 32 hour/week.
With the potential of covering more shifts in the future.

Pay: $18.
