Imagine One Technology & Management is currently seeking mid-level and senior Cybersecurity Engineers “contingent” on award of the associated work to the Imagine One Team.
This position supports the US Navy in Newport, Rhode Island.
Duties: Identify risks and provide technical solutions to mitigate and reduce risk(s) during the A&A process to ensure the accreditation is maintained.
Generate cybersecurity A&A strategy and boundary diagrams, A&A packages, and supporting documentation (e.
g.
, Standard Operating Procedure for cybersecurity Vulnerability Management, cybersecurity Certification Testing, and Configuration Management) in accordance with the NAVSEA Cybersecurity Business Rules A&A submission requirements.
Conduct and document security test and evaluation of IA controls and input results in the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) Navy tool.
Perform manual and automated vulnerability test and evaluation for information systems, software applications and laboratories.
Develop and test systems security contingency and disaster recovery procedures and document results.
Verify through technical inspections and document reviews that security deficiencies, identified during security and certification testing, have been mitigated, and assessed for risk.
Perform Annual Reviews in support of maintaining accreditation and document technical findings.
Assess cybersecurity risk and accreditation impact of changes to existing information systems and enclaves as well as provide recommendations to mitigate.
Experience Requirements: For Mid-level candidates: Three (3) to ten (10) years of relevant experience providing assess & authorize (A&A) support to DoD contracts.
Navy-specific experience preferred but not required.
For Senior candidates: A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience providing A&A support to DoD contracts.
Navy-specific experience preferred but not required.
*All candidates: Experience with some of the following products & tools: ACAS, eMASS, STIGs, STIG Manager, VRAM.
MS Project, MS Office Suite, MS System Center Suite, Visio, Adobe.
Educational Requirements: For Mid-level candidates: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent For Senior candidates: Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent For all candidates: Must be CompTIA Security+ certified or possess other industry-standard cybersecurity certification Security Requirements: U.
